L.C. Smith

I am from Kentucky and I have recently discovered that I love to write.  I have a Bachelor of Arts in English, but have managed to hold job positions that do not permit me to exercise my creative side.  (My degree does not make me exempt from grammatical errors or typos, so if you come across something - please let me know.)  Thanks to HubPages, I finally have an outlet for all the bizarre thoughts and observations running through my mind throughout the day. 

In my spare time, I love to read about current events, entertainment, politics and pop culture.  I also enjoy understanding how and/or why things work.  If I stumble across a topic or word that is unfamiliar, you can bet I have looked it up online so I can make a mental note for future reference.  This accounts for the tons of useless information I store that can be useful for either trivia games or cheap party tricks and not much else.

I do not exercise as much as I should, but my most favorite activity is swimming.  Bowling would be a close second. I love to watch movies, documentaries and will listen to ALMOST any type of music.      

I am happy to be here, enjoying the writings from fellow hubbers and looking forward to learning along the way.
